I want to go 100% raw but i’m having trouble figuring out the amount of food I need. I am really muscular and have a high matabolism so I want to make sure I get enough but not too many caloires. I want to just drink juices.
One thing you’ll realize as you go deeper into the rabbit hole of raw foods you will learn that a calorie isnt always a calorie, and its total misinformation that you need x amount of calories a day. ( not your fault ) What % raw are you? how are you making your juices, and what with? What do you eat the rest of the day? I usually eat when my body tells me too, your body will learn to tell you what it needs / wants. CHEW your juice, DRINK your food.

Ok, I think it was the ginger that got her, its good for your circulatory system. the carrot may have helped.
Some people actually add a dash of cayenne to force themselves to slow down the drinking. Dan may not advise using cayenne because it is a spice, but it is also a vasodilator and is thus good for circulation. Also, some use flax in smoothies to moderate sugar spikes. You can google search those ideas if you want. I drink smoothies without doing this, although I do consume them slowly by “chewing” on the pureed leaves in the smoothie.

make some vegi drinks:2 carrot ,1 celery,1/4 jalapeno,4 large tomatoes,4 cucumbers,1 small head broccoli,small hand parsley ,bunch cilantro,1 shallot 2 garlic sections.You will be warm inside.I have been sipping mine all day off and on .Its a kickin drink~
Also should I really be guzzling down something that has like 3 bannas, 3 apples,etc… I heard I should be sipping it slowly cause the body can get sugar overload. I need some help on this please. Thanks guys. Lets take the raw journey together
Can Dan or anyone help on this? I’m really curious about portion sizing. I noticed after drinking the juices for about 3 days now that my waste line is expanding like crazy. I don’t know if i’m eating too much or too little (my body sometimes does this if I am starving myself to store fat). I’m wondering if someone who is fully raw can help me with this. How do I know how much is too much or too little? I need about 2,500 calories daily. Thanks!

Just so its said I know Dan never speaks much on this but spicies with chemicals like msg and other ingredients that you need a degree in chemistry to understand are the ones that are not good for you. Whole spices are the ones that we should be eating like dried parsley (the best spices are the ones you make at home having a dehydrator can help you make plenty of dried spices like hot peppers can easily be grounded into powder once dehydrated)
